About Encore Flooring
ENCORE PERFORMANCE LLC dba Encore Flooring Products is a retailer of home improvement products and flooring materials with an initial core market in Northwest Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas. We currently operate a retail store but serve professional contractors, multi-family builders and smaller commercial contractors within a 125 mile radius. We capitalize on the overlap between retail consumers and professional contractors by providing a broad product assortment of flooring (tile, carpet, wood flooring) along with lighting, windows, fireplaces and deco hardware. Most of our team have worked together for many years at the former National Home Centers before we started Encore in February, 2011 and we have had an immediate impact in the housing market by attracting talented people. The founders of the company have extensive experience in the industry. Our team of outside sales and inside sales are ready to review your building plans, visit your job site and help you complete your project on any scale.
Joe N. Frame
Joe Frame co-founded Encore Flooring Products in February 2011, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the flooring and building products industry. Frame served as both senior vice president of operations and general manager of several facilities during his tenure at National Home Centers from 1994 to April 2010. During his time as general manager of that company’s Springdale, AR, location, Frame supervised 350 people. Frame also served on the company’s board of directors from 2005 to 2010. Before joining National Home Centers, Frame served as general manager for the Cash Lumber Company at its Conway, AR and Russellville, AR locations.
A graduate of the 2008 Springdale Chamber Leadership Class, Frame has served on various boards for the United Way and the Home Builder’s Association.
Brent A. Hanby
Brent Hanby co-founded Encore Building Products after serving from 1985 to 2010 at National Home Centers. Hanby worked as executive vice president and chief financial officer for 20 years and was on the board of directors from 1993 to 2010. He was employed as location manager for Stock Building Supply after Stock purchased National Home Center in April 2010.
A 1986 graduate of the University of Arkansas, Hanby holds a Bachelor of Science Business Administration in finance and banking. He’s also a 2006 graduate of the Springdale Chamber Leadership Class. Hanby has served on many community boards including United Way, NWA Home Builder’s Association, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Springdale Chamber of Commerce. He was recognized by Arkansas Business magazine’s “40 Under 40” in 1994.
Monica Mhoon Frame
Monica Mhoon Frame co-founded Encore Building Products in February 2011. Frame brings management experience with her after working as co-owner and manager of the Venesian Inn Restaurant in Tontitown, AR since 2001. She was also employed by the cabinet and space designer Simply Organized from 2001 to 2005. She’s been involved in various management, accounting, home-building and land development projects since 2004.
Frame earned a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology from the University of Arkansas in 2001.
Mike Wilson
Mike Wilson is general manager of Encore Building Products, where he’s served since it opened in February 2011. His previous experience includes general manager of National Home Center and Stock Flooring from 2009-2011. He was a buyer and assistant manager at National Home Center’s flooring department from 2007 to 2009 and inside/outside sales in flooring for the same company from 2002 to 2007.
Wilson attended the University of Arkansas from 1996-1999.
